Kathy’s songs are born out of her personal experiences of joy, pain, forgiveness, thankfulness, worship, servant-hood, liberation and victory. Though some songs are novel in the way they were devised, because of her personal relationship with Jesus Christ and the Word of God, she can always relate each song back to it’s scriptural foundation.

Her exceptional approach to songwriting shows with songs like the staggering praise anthem “Ah Lord Our God” (based on Ezekiel the prophet’s lamentation about the destruction of the Israelites – Ezekiel 9:8), the plaintive ballad “Neverending Love” (based on the parable of the Prodigal Son), the inspirational tear-jerker “Rise Above” (based on Isaiah 40:31), funky and youthful “Love Relationship” (based on John 3:16 & 15:4 – 7) , the urban bounce “Out of Me” (1 John 1, Roman 8:1) the soul-baring “I Will Praise You” (Psalm 100) and the celebratory title track “Free”.
